I am very pleased to announce our sixth annual Education Conference, Xtreme Education. Like a theme park, parenting is a mostly delightful undertaking full of thrills, excitement, and variety punctuated by periods of tedium and waiting. Sometimes, you get more ups and downs than you bargained for. Yet, the downs can be the most exciting part! Education is an often exhausting but never boring adventure. Congratulations to you for taking this “xtreme” educational journey with your child!

We are excited about the excellent inspirational presentations we have prepared for you this year. I am pleased to announce that renowned homeschool education activist, Andrew Pudewa of the Institute for Excellence in Writing, will be giving a keynote address entitled, Rebuilding Your Education Paradigm: Teaching for “Freedomship.”

Due to the California State Budget crisis, we have reduced the size and scope of our event to better target the needs of our staff and parents. I think you will agree that these small changes in no way reduce the quality of the event and, in fact, will enhance everyone’s experience. I look forward to enjoying our theme park of learning with you during this school year!
