Homeschool families in the 2007-2008 school year, River Springs Charter
School is pleased to announce the . . .
“First Annual S.P.R.E.E. Celebration!”
Our goal is to empower parents by providing the information and resources they need to be successful teachers at home.
At these events, River Springs Charter educational specialists and credentialed staff will share their expertise using fun educational activities.
Here are some of the activities that we will have.

Frequently Asked Questions FAQ’s:
- Will there be food? Yes. A nutritional snack and drinks will be served.
- Can I bring my preschooler? Yes and No! Due to facility restrictions, potty trained preschoolers, ages 2-5, will be supervised at the Riverside location only.
- Can I bring my nursing baby? Yes. (Please be thoughtful of other guests)
- What will my kids be doing at the event? Children will be in fun, separate workshops from their parents with vendors and staff.
- If I cannot sign up for this event, will there be others like it? Yes. The S.P.R.E.E. Celebration is also being scheduled for February/ March 2008.
- How should my family dress? Please wear comfortable
clothing (jacket or sweater, t shirts, jeans, tennies) You and your
children will be
participating in projects that could include glue, paint, markers etc., plus PE! Some activities may be outdoors! - Is this the same conference that was listed on the RSCS Master calendar as “Homeschool Regional Curriculum Faire”? Yes. The name has been changed to the S.P.R.E.E. Celebration!
- Will my family have a totally awesome, fun, educational experience at this event? ABSOLUTELY YES!
